CHARITABLE GIVING COMMITTEE
Our Purpose: To support the Lakewood Area Chamber of Commerce’s mission to nurture a collaborative environment where businesses and organizations can thrive. We aim to create a sustainable and prosperous community that reflects the charm and warmth of northern Oconto County.
Eligiblity Focus
– Protect resources that are central to the appeal of our area
– Encourage and support development of the area’s recreational facilities and organizations
– Encourage economic development that fosters growth and overall area tourism
Evaluation Criteria
– Alignment with our mission and values
– Economic impact and clarity of purpose
– Financial Need
– Need to be a Chamber of Commerce member for at least 1 calendar year
Application Deadlines
Applications will be accepted throughout the year with semi-annual payment disbursements.
First Half Year Disbursement (January through June needs)
– Applications will be accepted July through September of
the previous year.
– Approvals and notifications will be made in
October.
Second Half Year Disbursement (July through December needs)
– Applications will be accepted January through March of the
current year.
– Approvals and notifications will be made in April
Spot Donations
– May be able to be attained depending on availability of
funds, but can not be guaranteed.
